VLY Hotel & Pied-a-Terre

Working with a team of interior designers, DSA developed four building envelope concepts for a new fourteen-story boutique hotel located at a busy street corner near Union Square. DSA designed four thematic concepts: Nouveau Modern I and II, European Grandeur, and Urban Industrial. The Nouveau Modern II design was recommended by DSA for its simple expression of the building’s structural frame; movable stainless steel screen panels for privacy and sun shading; operable windows for natural ventilation; and a vertical garden at the 7th floor roof terrace.
