Veteran's Memorial Hall

City Hall, New Haven, Connecticut, 2006

On Veteran's Day 2006, the City of New Haven rededicated the south atrium of City Hall. Commissioned by the New Haven Coliseum Authority and Department of Economic Development, DSA was designer and construction manager of this new memorial, the centerpiece of Veteran’s Memorial Hall, which lists the names of the New Haven citizens who lost their lives in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. DSA designed the black polished granite with engraved names, inlaid seals of the armed services, lighting, and the location of a large bronze veteran's plaque from the recently razed New Haven Coliseum.
