French Modern Sources

Year: 2006

DSA was commissioned by the Georges Pompidou Foundation to create an art gallery and exhibition of prototypes of French furniture and decorative design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Charreau, Jean Prouve, Eileen Gray and others inside a vacant building in conjunction with the annual Art Basel Miami event. The 6,000 square foot vacant space was cleared and renovated by DSA, then fitted with new lighting, security, a video enclosure, interior and exterior signage. DSA was responsible for the exhibition design, fabrication and coordination of logistics in close coordination with the Miami Design District and the Centre Pompidou and its Foundation.
