This is a complete makeover of a portion of an existing home into a contemporary kitchen, dining and whisky bar. DSA designed and integrated new custom millwork, plumbing and light fixtures to create an elegant and functional interior for everyday use and entertaining. A custom designed stainless steel soffit supports a telescopic range hood over the stone kitchen island. The whisky bar is like no other. Its glass shelves are illuminated from above and below to showcase one of the finest collection of spirits in Hawai‘i. The bar counter is made from a locally harvested and milled slab of ohia wood and is supported by custom designed bronze brackets.
